Signed, with a receipt anyone can check

Put a document in front of named people and record what they agreed to. Your counterparty signs from a link, with no account. When the last signature lands, both sides hold a receipt that proves exactly what was signed, by whom, and when.

From draft to receipt

Up to ten parties on one agreement. Every step below is refused when doing it would falsify the record.

  1. 01

    Upload, or just write it

Attach the PDF the agreement is about, or write it as plain text. From that moment the document's SHA-256 fingerprint is the thing everybody signs.

  2. 02

    Place the fields

Signature, initials, date, text fields and checkboxes, placed on the page and assigned to a named person. Once anybody has signed, the fields are fixed.

  3. 03

    One link per person

Each party gets an unguessable link of their own. No account, no password - and it stops accepting a signature the moment its holder has signed.

  4. 04

    The receipt

When the last party signs, everyone is emailed the outcome: the stamped PDF and a receipt signed with our key, checkable at a public address.

A party asked to sign sees the whole picture before they do: the document, every field on it including the other side's, and who else is party to it.

Nothing changes under a signature

After the first signature no further edits to the document or its fields are accepted, and each signature records the fingerprint of exactly what that person was shown - compared and displayed, not assumed equal.

Reminders that go where needed

Send the link again to one party or to everybody still outstanding, from the same screen you watch the agreement from. You can see who has opened it.

A consent record, not a checkbox

What each person typed, from which address, with which browser, at which time, against the hash of the document in front of them. That record is inside the signed receipt, so it survives anybody editing a file.

The receipt is the product

One Ed25519 signature over the whole record: the agreement's title, the document's hash, every party with the name they typed and when they typed it, and every field they filled in. Anyone holding the receipt can check it at its public address, without an account and without asking us.

Typical e-sign tools keep an audit trail you take their word for. This receipt is a signed document in its own right: it verifies offline against a key we publish, so it stays checkable even without our servers in the room.

Holding a receipt? Check it now.

Paste the verification link or the id printed on the receipt. The answer is one sentence: whether we issued it, and whether it has been altered since.

What this is, and what it is not

Not a qualified electronic signature

This is not a qualified signature under eIDAS and we do not verify identity. What we prove, and what the receipt itself says, is that a document with this hash was shown at this address at this time, and this is what came back.

The receipt exists only when everyone has signed

A proof of a half-signed agreement is a document somebody could wave around as though it were done. Until the last party signs, there is no receipt to show.

Withdrawing keeps the record

Cancel an agreement before it completes and the signatures already given stay on file - a withdrawn request says so instead of pretending the afternoon did not happen. A completed agreement cannot be unmade: the receipt is out, other people hold it.

If we ever withdraw a receipt, the page says so

A receipt cannot be recalled from the people holding it. What we can do is make the verification page answer “we issued this and later withdrew it”, with the reason - and that is what it does.

It ships with your account

There is no separate e-signing plan to buy. Every OAKMONT account sends agreements from the portal, and the receipts verify at the same public address as every other proof we issue.
